Queens Democrats endorsed Adrienne Adams last week, who is running to represent the 28th City Council District.
Adams, who is the Chair of Community Board 12 Queens, has the experience and ethos necessary to represent Jamaica in the City Council. Her dedication to public service is exemplified by her time working on behalf of our communities on CB 12Q, as well as her time on the Jamaica Now Leadership Council, and the Governor’s Local Planning Committee for the Jamaica Downtown Revitalization Initiative.
Queens Democrats Chair Congressman Joe Crowley also noted her experience and skillset in a statement endorsing her candidacy, “The people of Queens deserve honest representation and a City Council Member who will fight tirelessly for the best interests of the community. Adrienne Adams has proven time and again that she knows what this community needs and how to build the coalitions necessary to improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods. I’m proud to support her campaign for City Council.”
